Episode #77 – Shazam!
Big meets superheroes in Shazam!, the subject of this episode's discussion. Perry is joined once again by John Bracich to give a brief discussion of the history of Captain Marvel/Shazam, and how this movie managed to perfectly capture the feeling every kid has of wanting to transform into a superhero.

Episode #76 – Justice League: Gods and Monsters
There have been a lot of animated Justice League movies, and in this episode Perry is joined by author Gordon Dymowski to discuss one of the oddest ones of all. Justice League: Gods and Monsters featured Bruce Timm's return to the DC characters, except this Justice League is composed of General Zod's son, Kirk Langstrom, and Bekka of the Fourth World. It's an interesting and somewhat strange addition to the canon that doesn't quite work so well.

Episode #73 – Superman: Red Son
It's capitalism-smashing time! Perry and Stacy Dooks of the Fanboy Power Hour podcast embrace their inner communists for the animated adaptation of Superman: Red Son. We also discuss Mark Millar, the mistakes people make in understanding the Superman/Batman relationship, and other assorted diversions.

Episode #68 – The Suicide Squad
The Suicide Squad improved on pretty much every aspect of the original film, but we still found plenty to go back-and-forth on in this episode. Adam Lance Garcia returns to Superhero Cinephiles and he brought Steele Filipek as a date.

Episode #62 – The Batman/Superman Movie: World’s Finest
Mike Blanchard of the GeekCast Radio Network is the show's latest guest, here to discuss what is certainly the best Batman/Superman movie ever made—the three-part team-up that originally aired as part of Superman: The Animated Series. Perry and Mike talk about how the film nails the relationship between Superman and Batman, as well as the DCAU and its legacy.

Episode #61 – Zack Snyder’s Justice League
No one can replace Derrick, but he would have wanted the show to continue, and so it does. In the first episode of this new format, Perry is joined by author and video producer Adam Lance Garcia and they tackle the Snyder Cut. And in true Superhero Cinephiles fashion, there's plenty of other digressions about Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the DCEU, and much more!

REBROADCAST: Justice League
We've had some scheduling difficulties this week, so even though we've both seen Zack Snyder's Justice League, we haven't had a chance to sit down and talk about it. So instead, we're re-broadcasting our episode discussing the theatrical cut of Justice League. Listen again to prepare yourself for our upcoming discussion of the Snyder Cut!

Episode #59 – Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
With the Snyder Cut release upon us, we look back at the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman and find it's still pretty much as terrible as the theatrical cut. From everyone in this movie being a total asshole to the plot holes and the head-scratchingly bizarre portrayal of Lex Luthor, the only real bright spots are Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons, and Gal Gadot.
