Indie comic creator Fish Lee is the guest this week to talk about his work in the industry, his upcoming project Greenzone: Life in the Blocks, and then we dive into all things Darkman. We discuss the sheer wealth of talent in this film, with then-future stars like Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand, the chaos behind the scenes, and how well this film holds up over thirty years later!

    In the 101st episode, Perry welcomes new guest Shane Rogers of the Midnight Facts for Insomniacs podcast to talk about Paul Verhoeven's groundbreaking RoboCop! We discuss the satirical nature of the film and how relevant it still is 35 years after its release, how well most of the effects hold up, some of the great performances including Peter Weller and Kurtwood Smith, and we also talk a bit about the remake and some of the behind-the-scenes stuff. Also, we answer the question: is this really a superhero movie or not?

    There are many bad movies that Perry has watched for this show and come away with something positive to say. That's not the case with today's pick. Will Short of the Days Past Tooncast (and an old friend from Perry and Derrick's fanfic days) comes on to discuss CBS' failed 1997 Justice League of America pilot. And whether you're a Snyder fan or a Snyder hater, we can all agree that this is the absolute worst Justice League adaptation to date.

Though it's got definite issues, both he and Perry have found aspects of it that turned out better than expected in retrospect. Especially when the slightly altered Editor's Cut is taken into consideration.
